What to prepare for a new website: a checklist

Why prepare in advance

The more materials are ready before we start, the faster the launch and the more precise the price. It’s fine if something is missing — we can help with part of it. Still, it’s worth going through the list before the first call.

About the business

• What you do and for whom — in two or three sentences
• Main services or products and “from” prices
• How you differ from competitors
• Questions clients often ask — they become the FAQ section

The website’s goal

• What a visitor should do: message on WhatsApp, call, leave a request or buy
• Where visitors will come from: ads, Instagram, search, 2GIS
• Websites you like, and what exactly you like about them

Logo, texts and photos

Real photos work best: your premises, team, products, the work in progress. Stock images don’t add trust.

• A good-quality logo — ideally a vector file (SVG, PDF or AI)
• Photos of your work, products and team
• Client reviews — with their permission to publish
• Certificates, licences and awards, if you have them

Domain, hosting and access

• A few address options: short and easy to dictate over the phone
• The domain and hosting are registered in your name, so the website is fully yours. We’ll help you choose and set them up
• Access to your old website, if there is one

Contacts and company details

• WhatsApp number and phone, Instagram, Telegram
• Address, opening hours and a 2GIS link
• Sole proprietor or company details — for the contract and the website’s legal pages

Languages

In Kazakhstan a website is usually needed in Kazakh and Russian. Check whether you have texts in both. If not, we’ll help with translation.
